NYFW 2017: Street Style

NYFW has come to an end, the most prestigious brands has showcased their Spring/Summer 18 collection, showcasing to bloggers and celebrities their new pieces. However this is not just that has caught our attention; it is also the street style that has braced our news feeds. This post is looking at some of the street style outfits that I have personally liked.

Autumn: Jumper

For me, autumn has begun. This means drinking hot beverages, playing old records on my record player and lighting a candle or two. I love when the sun sets and the days become darker; it makes me feel warm inside and cosy. Plus, it means we are getting closer to Christmas!

The other day I visited the Saatchi Gallery for the first time. I have to say, I am not an art enthusiast but I know some of my stuff as I had studied it for three years in school and am doing photography. I was pretty excited. I was most excited to see Frida Kahlo. Seeing her self-portraits was amazing, they were absolutely beautiful. Having studied a little about Frida Kahlo it was exciting to see her work in person.

The new revolutionising brand: 'Arket'

Arket has finally launched to the anticipating public, opening its Flagship store in London, Regents Street. The clothing brand, H&M has seen the likes of &Other Stories and COS. Now the clothing company have launched the sister brand Arket, a noticeably higher priced, Nordic based brand.
