BUTTERY GOODNESS

                                              

This is the first birthday where I bought an outfit rather than resorting to my closet for one. 

I'm not one to go all out with an occasion outfit. With that being said, I was in love with the Toteme Coripe Dress. The details were stunning and I just could not believe how a dress could be so beautifully made.

However, I began to question would I get much use out of it after wearing it for my birthday. To pay so much for a dress, I would want to wear it often.

I felt a little deflated and began to look around the website and then I found this blouse. It was perfect, I knew I would get more use out of it because it was a blouse and less dramatic than the dress.

I didn't have to compromise on the beautiful design and I pretty much bought it on the spot.

And now we skip to the 'special' day. I wanted the blouse to be the star of the show, so I paired it with my trusty black corduroy flared pants (&OtherStories) and my brand new Bottega Veneta Almond heels (I'm squealing as I write this).

                                              

As this post is titled, this is buttery goodness in an outfit. This is the outfit.

I feel incredible blessed to be able to wear it and have bought it all on my own.

This was truly a birthday to remember.
