Autumn: Jumper

For me, autumn has begun. This means drinking hot beverages, playing old records on my record player and lighting a candle or two. I love when the sun sets and the days become darker; it makes me feel warm inside and cosy. Plus, it means we are getting closer to Christmas!

However, that also means a complete re-organisation of my wardrobe, pushing summer clothes to the back and autumnal clothes, such as jumpers and coats to the front. It gives me the excuse to buy cute clothes and splurge on new coats (they’re my downfall). Autumn is my favourite season of the year, I absolutely love it. I love wearing brown, mustard and red colours.

If someone was to say to me ‘autumn’ I would immediately think of jumpers (actually, they’re my downfall after the coats). I am a sucker of jumpers/sweaters. A girl can never have too many! My favourite is this brown frilly one from Warehouse:

I love the frills across the front, arms and ends of the sleeves. It looks really cute. But what I love most is the colour! It reminds me of deep, dark caramel. I love it so, so much. I’ve had the jumper for almost about a year and cannot live without. As crazy as it sounds, I even wore it during the summer.
Jumpers make me feel fuzzy inside, wearing a jumper with knee high socks and dancing around to an old record is a dream. It’s one of my favourite things to do, maybe sipping on some hot chocolate as well, maybe a coffee if it’s the morning. Just thinking about it makes me smile and more excited for autumn.

Tell me below what type of jumpers you love to wear during autumn!
